Titanic Belfast wins most InAVative prize!

DJW wins the prize for the Most InAVative Vistor Attraction of 2013.

Beating off competition from across the European and Middle Eastern area, our AV integration at Titanic Belfast was recognised as being the most innovative.

Josh Miller, one of DJW’s Director was there to collect the award and said “This project used so many aspects of AV in so many different ways, and is already attracting many more visitors than predicted.”

Titanic Belfast is home to some of the most stunning immersive experiences DJW has created. The AV-led Experience runs through 9 themed galleries, drawing together special effects, a dark ride, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way; from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day with a live undersea exploration centre.

The awards were presented at a gala dinner at the Integrated Systems Europe trade show where some of the DJW team were meeting with suppliers and checking out the latest technologies.

DJW was also a finalist in the Most InAVative Leisure and Entertainment Facility Award with the AV integration at the BP Showcase for the Olympic and Paralympic games.
