ISO 14001:2004

DJW is increasingly addressing the environmental effects of work undertaken, through our recently gained accreditation to ISO14001:2004. This system leads us to identify the environmental aspects which we can control and provides a framework for controlling them and lessening our environmental impact. A recent comment from the auditor stated that it would be hard to improve the environmental impact of the business, because it was already negligible.

TEA (Themed Entertainment Association)

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) is an international non-profit making association representing the world’s leading creators, developers, designers and producers, of compelling places and experiences. DJW has been a member of the TEA for over ten years, and has played a leading role over the past few years. David Willrich has previously served as the President for the Europe & Middle East Division. He is currently President of the TEA, taking over the International Presidency as of November 2016. The TEA develops networking and knowledge in Themed Entertainment attraction venues, and this involvement helps strengthen DJW’s position in the industry.

EAS (Euro Attractions Show)

DJW is a member of and attends both the IAAPA and EAS (US and European) trade shows to meet and network with collaborators, suppliers and clients across the amusement parks and attractions fields. These shows showcase the latest themes and ideas in the industries, helping DJW stay at the industry forefront.

InfoComm and ISE (US and European) trade shows specialise in audio visual equipment and systems, so DJW uses these trade shows to investigate and influence the latest developments in equipment, whilst also maintaining the important relationships with suppliers and keep at the cutting edge of technology.
